Phase 16 Leak Detection Survey

Sealed Proposals, subject to the conditions contained herein will be received by the Mohawk Valley Water Authority (MVWA) Engineering Department, up until and no later than 11:00 A.M. local time on, Friday, October 21, 2022, and then publicly opened and read in the Board’s conference room for the following, as described in the specifications: PHASE 16 LEAK DETECTION SURVEY.

The work to be performed under this project includes a comprehensive leak detection survey of up to a total of 501 miles of water transmission and distribution mains in the Regional System.

Bidding documents may be obtained from the Engineering Department at the MVWA at no charge, or you may request them by emailing Jolie Murray. Proposals are to be submitted only on the forms contained herein and shall be received only from persons who obtain Proposal Documents from the MVWA and are duly registered on the list of bidders.

Packages containing bids must be sealed, marked, and addressed to the Mohawk Valley Water Authority, Engineering Department, Attention: Jolie Murray, 1 Kennedy Plaza, 3rd Floor, City Hall, Utica, New York 13502. Packages containing bids that are delivered by courier (i.e. FedEx, UPS, etc.) must be delivered to the Water Authority’s Engineering Department, 3rd Floor Office. Due to COVID, bids can also be emailed to Jolie Murray.

The Board reserves the right to revise or amend the bidding documents prior to the date set for opening the bids.

The Board reserves the right to waive any informality and reject all proposals. The MVWA may reject any proposal if in its judgment the resources, financial standing, or experience of the consultant justifies such rejection in view of the work to be performed.
