MVWA's Engineering Department is comprised of Engineering, Technical & Administrative professionals with decades of experience operating and maintaining the Regional System. 

The Engineering Department is responsible for overall planning, administration and management of the water works system. This section performs all of the engineering work in connection with the distribution, maintenance, and operation of the water supply; plans for construction of new and/or modification of water system facilities; prepares and administers contracts for work done by contractors; and prepares specifications for materials purchased for new construction, as well as all materials, equipment and supplies for the operation of the water system.
