Some Facts about Water use and your Water Bill     

 Leaks are one of the main reasons for water waste. A dripping faucet or a leaking toilet can result in a substantial increase in your water bill. Get them repaired as soon as possible. 

 You can eliminate estimated readings by having your meter remounted outdoors (it’s free!). 

 You can reduce the time it takes to post your water bill payment to your account by enclosing your payment stub with your payment. 

 The MVWA is not responsible for the mail, so be sure to send in your payment 4 – 5 business days before the due date, in order to avoid additional charges.

 Some automatic payment services provided by your banking institutions are mailed to us by check. Your payment is posted the day we receive that check.
